Breaking Bread – Robert Valenzuela, WVL PM Dock

Please welcome WVL’s newest Team Member as full time PM Dock, Robert Valenzuela.
Brad Barrows, WVL Operations Supervisor, and I had the pleasure of have a meal with Robert, what a great addition to Oak Harbor Freight Lines and Team Woodinville.
Robert came to us with over 3 years of LTL experience as an OB dock lead with R&L. Part of that time was spent in the building WVL currently occupies. He heard about us from a OHFL P&D driver that worked with him at R&L. According to Robert the people on the OHFL WVL team are above his expectations and he enjoys working with us.
Robert was born in LA then the family moved to Texas so his father could continue a career in aerospace. Texas is where Robert learned to play baseball and played a lot of center field on select teams. At 13 the family was on the move again to Everett WA. His father started working for Boeing and his mother was a Pre-school teacher. Robert graduated from Jackson High school in Everett WA.
Robert enjoys photography, gaming and follows the LA Dodgers. I think he still dreams of being the center fielder for the LA Dodgers. GO DODGERS!!!
