Contributed by: Dave Mathison, WA/OR/ID/UT Recruiter

Dave Mathison, WA/OR/ID/UT Recruiter, gives a glimpse of our trucking future. Pictured is a student at Centralia Community College learning how to drive a semi for the first time.

The Instructor, Brian Lipp, is explaining to the student how the transmission works. All new Drivers are required to have a minimum of 10 hours behind the simulator wheel before they can go out on the road. This allows them a safe and hands-on understanding to the components of semi-truck driving.
