Yakima’s Danny Rosales Retires

Contributed by Anthony Juette, Terminal Manager: Pasco & Yakima, WA.

On 11/15/23, we celebrated Danny Rosales final day of work with Oak Harbor Freight Lines. We also had the pleasure of having Eric Vander Pol visit the prior week when we enjoyed breakfast and presented Danny with an engraved Oak Harbor retirement watch.

Danny had driven trucks for over 40 years in the LTL industry and was with us for over 30 of those years. He has always been a great employee in Yakima and has done more than just run linehaul for us.

When he began with us, he would work a split shift as he started from the bottom of the seniority board. Later, he oversaw our breakbulk operation in Yakima, and most recently, he has been a huge asset on our outbound dock. Danny worked hard on loading out high and tight trailers and took care to know how and where to load destination to help down the line.

We will miss Danny for his dependable work and great commitment to Oak Harbor. We wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement.
