Auburn’s Hygiene Kit Assembly Event for the Salvation Army

Contributed by: Amber Kiesel, Auburn Office Manager

As many of you know, Oak Harbor has a long-lasting relationship working with the Salvation Army. From gathering food for our local food banks, donating warm clothes for those in need during the colder winter months and participating in Yearly Toy Drives for children and families in our community, we are so proud to continue helping this organization.

With homelessness on the rise, the Auburn terminal had the joy of hosting an assembly line for the Salvation Army. We assembled Hygiene Kits to be distributed to the homeless in our local communities. Oak Harbor graciously donated the funds for all materials. Volunteers from the Corporate Office and the Auburn terminal donated their time and energy. At the end of the day, we were able to assemble 850 kits to be distributed!

Thank you again to everyone who donated to the cause whether it was monetarily or with their time!
