All of us at the Sacramento terminal were absolutely honored and thrilled to have won the Heavyweight HVP belt for the month of January. We knew the competition was tough and used that as motivation to push ourselves even further. Competing with such a great class of terminals made this month’s win even more rewarding.

We have an extremely close, family-like, atmosphere at our terminal. We are all working hard towards the common goal of success while treating each other with respect as we work as a team.

We had both Kevin Kellerman (VP of Operations) and Jody Silva (District Manager) here to celebrate with all the Sacramento employees, which made the occasion even more special. We shared three 20-pound briskets, 3 pork butts,
200 chicken wings, pork belly burnt ends prepared by Jeff Wemmer, a recently retired P&D Driver. We also had baked potatoes with all of the trimmings, brought to us by Inbound Supervisor and SME, Andrea Rodriquez.

Following the event, one of our great Dock Workers, Jimmy Le, was so proud of our accomplishments and asked to bring the belt home to show it off to his family. He had his twin daughters, Mila and Layla, pose for a photo while holding and wearing the belt.

Thank you to everyone at the Sacramento terminal for working incredibly hard to achieve this award!
