We want to give a major shoutout to Mindy Edlemon, our Auburn OS&D clerk.
Our partner carrier Dayton Freight Lines sent an inquiry about an unidentified pallet they had received on their dock that had limited information given. After some extensive research, contacting multiple shipper’s and consignees, and cross referencing different pro numbers, Mindy was able to find a home for this MIA pallet. Which was a good thing because it ended up being worth $28,000!
We can’t thank Mindy enough for putting in all the extra effort to not only help Dayton Freight Lines find a home for this pallet but also help Oak Harbor avoid a hefty claim!

Kaylee Gross was so extremely patient and helpful taking care of a billing issue.
Our Customer was very upset that the shipment showed as “collect” when it was to bill third party.
I had the Customer on the other line while Kaylee fixed the error, spoke to the Customer, and was able to schedule the Dock pick up.
It’s not very often that we take time to recognize individuals who go above and beyond to accommodate customer requests. I was impressed of how nice and professional Kaylee was.
I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize her for her outstanding customer service support.

One of our drivers, Sean Lewis, picked up a cabinet here at corporate to for me to ship to my daughter in Yakima. I’m all about excellent customer service and Sean certainly provided that.
He went the extra mile to rustle up some cardboard in the garage to protect it before wrapping it. The shrink wrapping he did was in of itself was a work of art. I also love happy people, and not only did he do a great job with the cabinet, but he was also courteous and happy. I’m sure our customer’s look forward to seeing him each time he pulls up in the OAKH truck.
