We hope everyone has come back rested from the Holiday’s and ready for an exciting 2025. Last year was definitely a year that saw some changes operationally.

Technology Changes

We moved away from a long-standing technology provider for operations (Cheetah) to a new and improved provider (Optym/Routemax), for our Planning and Dispatch/Driver applications. While Cheetah was a big step into the future when implemented, there was a need to look forward in the ever-changing world of technology.

New Department Added

With the addition of better technology, we have taken the opportunity to expand and define our Engineering Department. Knowledge is powerful and we need to leverage that information into better predicting our business and operational patterns and to enhance both our internal and external customer needs. As we become more efficient, it will translate into a better workplace and better service product to external customers.

Staffing Changes

We also have seen a few staffing changes as we start 2025. Tom Mueller, Safety & Compliance Manager, is retiring after a very long career in transportation and law enforcement. We thank Mueller for his service and wish him a very relaxing and happy retirement.

With Tom Mueller’s retirement, Tom Sanchez was promoted to Director of Safety and Facilities. Sanchez has done an outstanding job in multiple operational areas since joining our team. We look forward to his contribution in enhancing and continually improving our #1 priority, the Safety of our employee’s and the public.

Lastly, Joe Cook was promoted to Director of the Engineering Department. Joe has work tirelessly over the years to improve our technology, data, and focus on gaining operational efficiencies.
