We are ready to take on 2026 and dig deep to find ways for the company to continue to thrive. The teams are focused on operational efficiencies, safety initiatives, the customer experience, technology upgrades, and the employee experience.
In 2025 we launched a new Employee Engagement Survey through our platform, Quantum. We had a very good turnout for last year’s survey and from that our leaders were able to have further conversations on identified topics with their teams. From those conversations, we saw actions taken to improve work environments, communications, training opportunities, recognition, safety items, and more.
Some examples include:
Offered more in-depth conversations with Drivers so they could better understand decision making about load sequencing and leadership was able to listen to concerns and address them.
Communications was a main focus of improvement.
Offered more training and career advancement to team members.
Terminal repairs and yard reorganization to create a safer and cleaner work environment.
Made more safety training available to Drivers. They also continued offering leadership training to Driver Trainers, Leads and Supervisors while also improving on terminal wide communications.
The team wanted to exercise their competitive muscle and have a recognition program. The leaders have listened and are working on a plan to roll out in 2026.
The 2026 Engagement Survey will be kicking off in Mid-March and we are looking forward to your input again this year. The Company wants to always continue to improve and that starts with your help in identifying what those improvements should be.
