Meet The Team: Dave Mathison, Recruiter

We would like you to meet Dave Mathison – if you have not already had the opportunity to yet. Dave was recently named our Recruiter for the WA, OR, ID & UT Terminals, working alongside Ron Johnson. The two of them are creating a Recruiting team that is key in the company’s continued success in finding and hiring great Oak Harbor Employees. Dave has been with Oak Harbor for a total of about 25 years and plans to finish his career with us. He has been a Dock Worker, Driver and Operations Manager and maintains his CDL. He is extremely enthusiastic about helping people learn, grow, and become better at what they do. 

In Dave’s spare time he focuses on archery. He has been shooting archery for 8 years with his daughter and attends competitions with her any chance he gets. He has been a JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) Coach for 9 years and has a small team of 14 kids between the ages of 12 and 17 that he coaches. He loves the outdoors, where he hunts and fishes.
