Northwest Safety Supervisor Jeff McLaughlin has maintained a presence on the Cooperative Hazardous Materials Enforcement Development (COHMED) Leadership Council, as a representative of the trucking industry, since joining the Oak Harbor team.

His tenure began with COHMED while still with the Montana DOT and transitioned into his current Safety position. At COHMEDs annual training meeting this week Jeff was presented with the “Industry Award of Excellence” achievement.

This acknowledgment is testimony to his many years of involvement with Hazardous Material regulations, interpretations, and training. Pictured with Jeff is Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Farley who was recipient of the Law Enforcement achievement award. Trooper Farley has been part of the Oak Harbor Driver Training Program since its inception and has conducted multiple safety meetings at both of Oak Harbor’s Nevada terminals.

Congratulations to both!
