Olympia’s Employee Appreciation

During this year’s Employee Appreciation week, we capped off the week with a competition between Jason Clark (left) and Jearld Edwards (right). Both smoked a pork shoulder and brought them in for our team to try and vote on. Both turned out great and we all enjoyed a day of pulled pork sandwiches!

The following Monday the votes were tallied and the winner of Olympia’s first cook off was Jearld Edwards, Congratulations Jearld!

Olympia will have a second round in November, a smoked Turkey contest. The winner of that battle will face Jearld in the grand championship contest later this year or early next. I’m thankful they were willing to participate and share their great cooking with our team. In these contests we all benefit from great food and comradery.
