It is with great pleasure to share some very exciting news. Our very own B2B Integration Manager of Applications, Laura Parkinson along with our Senior IT Infrastructure Manager, Rick Potter have officially completed the Next Generation Leadership (NGL) 9-month program.

CIO-designed, NGL: Technology Leadership brings together managers and high-potential leaders of Inspire members in a peer-based, 9-month, cohort-based virtual leadership experience designed to develop IT leadership talent. Technology Leadership begins with a leadership skills assessment and incorporates collaborative workshops, peer problem-solving, relationship-building and mentoring with a CIO.

Rick and Laura are being recognized for their exceptional contribution leading successful change initiatives at Oak Harbor Freight Lines, while continually developing a positive approach to resistance, and recognizing how leadership behaviors can move all stakeholders in a new direction.

They created a real-world marketing plan to implement at Oak Harbor called Fresh Service: A Companywide Ticketing System geared towards supporting the HR Department. This capstone project is the cumulative application of what they both learned over the 9-months with their slogan being “Unleash the Power of Onboarding with Our Fresh Service HR Dashboard – Streamline, Simplicity, Succeed.”

Please join us in congratulating Laura and Rick on this well-deserved recognition!
