On a December morning in Phoenix our Driver, Brandon Goodney, came upon the scene of an accident involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle. Once Brandon realized what was happening, he immediately stopped and went to check on the motorcyclist who was lying in the middle of a busy intersection. He rendered aid, offered reassurance, and stayed with the individual until authorities arrived and took over.
Brandon’s calm presence, compassion, and willingness to step forward in a difficult moment reflect the very best of who we strive to be. His actions were not only brave, they embodied our core values in a real and meaningful way.
In recognition of his extraordinary response, Brandon was presented with our Silver Leaf Award, an honor reserved for Employees who go above and beyond in service, integrity, and character.
We were able to keep the award a complete surprise until the meeting, and Brandon had no idea that his wife Amber and their children would be there to celebrate with him.
Brandon’s actions remind us that leadership often shows up in unexpected moments, and he demonstrated exactly what it means to step in when someone needs help. We are grateful for his courage and proud to recognize him for the impact he made
