The One That Almost Got Away!
A damaged crate, a stuffed alligator, and a team determined to find the best solution
An unexpected visitor! We received an alligator in a crate from Naples Florida. Don’t worry – this one had already been stuffed!
The poorly constructed crate was falling apart and the gator almost escaped! In these conditions, the gator and crate could not safely go out for delivery without causing damage to this massive beast. The consignee was informed, decided he didn’t want to take a chance, and wanted to send it back to Florida because he was worried it was damaged.
A Happy Customer and a Happy Gator
Melody Ovando and the rest of team took it upon themselves to inspect the gator closely for any damage, tuck the gator in safely, and fortified the shipping crate. They took pictures, informed the consignee, and the shipper that the gator was a snug as bug in a rug and ready for travel to its new trophy room.
