Making Winters Warmer

The Tacoma Rescue Mission’s Outreach Team serves people in our community that, for a multitude of reasons, have found themselves living without a home.   

This team specializes in assisting those who are looking to get off the streets. This may look like getting them into the Mission’s New Life Program or helping them to obtain lost social security and/or state ID cards which are needed for housing and employment. But the immediate needs of warm clothing on cold winter days cannot be overlooked. 

The Auburn Terminal and Corporate Office teamed together to collect 35 coats, 52 pairs of warm socks, 35 pairs of gloves and 8 blankets for this team to gift to those in need.
