Oak Harbor’s Driver Training Program – Third Class of 2023

Oak Harbor hosted its third Entry Level Driver training class for 2023, in Reno, the week of Oct 1st. Eight students from multiple OAKH terminals attended the 4-day training including lectures, practical’s, and Smith System training. The class was instructed by Safety Supervisor Joe Guzman, Reno Driver trainer Mike Frith and Regional Shop Manager Jeff Gardner. Logistics specialist Martin Wilger and Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Farley also offered instruction to the class. During the classes final day Vice President of Operations Kevin Kellermann sat in on the class and spoke with the attendees.
