Silver Leaf Award: Daniel Spickert, STK P&D (And other STK Awards)

We honored our drivers today with their 2022 Safety Awards. Eric presented Dan with the Silver Leaf Award for his contributions to Oak Harbor Freight Lines, and beyond.

The below biography was written by Daniel’s Wife, Linda.

“How are you this fine and glorious morning”. Should sound familiar to everyone. Dan has been in the trucking business for 35 years. He was an Owner/Operator for 6 years and then he started up with commercial companies. In between this time, he owned a VW repair shop. Dan is a wonderful Dad to his son Rainy and his 3 grandchildren. He is also an incredible Dad to Linda’s 2 children. He married Linda in 2007. She picked the date of 07/07/07 so he would never forget their anniversaries. He’s very skilled as a “fix it man”, his father taught him well. Dan is a loving and caring person to all he meets.

In addition to Dan’s Silver Leaf Award, he was presented with a gift card and a dinner for him to enjoy wiht his wife, Linda.

Stockton also had several additional Safe Driving Awards to hand out to the team.

Juan Corona recieved his 15 year Safe Driving Award.

Jason Castillo recieved his 5 year Safe Driving Award.

Both Andrew Solorio and Andres Gibson recieved their 1 year Safe Driving Awards.
