On August 12th, The Spokane Terminal was able to celebrate Craig Becker’s retirement. It was also his birthday!
In attendance were his two sons, Tyler, Mathew, and daughter Kayla, along with two grandchildren. Retired employee Linda Gross and Market Place Chaplains David and Hester Christensen were also present.
We awarded Craig with a few departing gifts and then had a breakfast in his honor, along with a birthday cake. He was very appreciative and made mention, Oak Harbor Freight Lines, and the Vander Pol Family, has been the best place he has ever worked at.
Craig started his career at Oak Harbor in 1998 when the Spokane Terminal officially opened for business. He has been in Operations since day one. We can’t thank him enough for his leadership, attention to detail, integrity, and the fact that he rarely, if ever, called in sick.
We could always depend on him coming in at 0100 when most are sleeping and never missing a beat making sure routing and customers were taken care of for the day. He will be missed by all.
Craig will be kept busy attending grandchildren school events, babysitting, and maybe getting some golf in occasionally, why rooting on the Seattle Seahawks and Gonzaga U Basketball.
